Château Peymouton 2023 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, mineral and iodized. It expresses notes of ripe black berries, violet and more slightly – graphite associated with touches of crushed wild strawberry, as well as hints of toast and pepper. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, mineral, balanced and offers a tangy frame, accuracy, fine tension, suavity. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright purple plum and more slightly – juicy/pulpy blue berries, associated with touches of cornflower, toast, star anise and toasted hazelnut. Good length. Nice juiciness and suppleness in freshness.
