The nose is fruity and offers concentration in accuracy as well as a nice hint of maceratio. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, violet and small notes of roasted-juicy small fruits associated with touches of fairly ripe blueberry as well as fine hints of racy minerality and a discreet hint of star anise. The palate is nicely juicy, balanced and offers intensity, depth, suppleness, a nice shine as well as concentration in accuracy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fairly ripe cassis, small juicy/pulpy black berries and small notes of roasted/juicy small red fruits associated with touches of liquorice stick/zan as well as fine hints of almost aniseed, infusion, spices and a subtle hint of cornflower. The tannins are sapid and finely mellow. An imperceptible hint of good bitterness on the retro. A lovely fruity wine, concentrated and well-controlled.
