Château La Louvière 2023 – Pessac-Léognan

Une subtile pointe variétale sur la persistance/rétro.
The nose is fruity, fresh, a fine concentration, accuracy, a racy minerality. It expresses notes of infusion, fresh/juicy black berries and more slightly – fresh cherry associated with touches of black tea, racy minerality, a hint of graphite and a discreet hint of fresh spices. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, acidity, a mineral/acid frame, a vibrant/almost electric side. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackcurrant, small juicy/acidic red berries and more slightly – violet associated with touches of tobacco, toasted-fresh as well as a hint of cardamom. The tannins are sapid and finely mellow. Freshness and darkness. A subtle varietal hint on the persistence/retro.
