A lovely elegant nose, precise, stretched, with a lovely purity of fruit, depth, a very discreet almost Mediterranean hint in the approach of the fruit. It expresses notes of small pulpy/fleshy black fruits, blueberry and more slightly crushed blackcurrant, associated with touches of cubeb pepper as well as fine hints of nutmeg, blond tobacco, a very discreet almost iodized hint, and subtle hints of infusion and a very discreet almost vanilla hint. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, balanced and offers delicacy, a certain softness, a nice freshness and a traceant side in minerality and freshness, a nice acidity, a fine spherical side and an almost solar/Mediterranean hint of the fruit in the background. A very nice softness in the mouth. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and more lightly – almost roasted-juicy raspberry, associated with touches of blueberry, crushed red berries, touches of infusion, black tea, star anise, as well as a subtle hint almost sage in the background and a subtle hint of toast and chocolate. Good length. Soft, sapid and gourmet/tasty tannins. Nice freshness and softness on the finish/persistence
