Château La Prade 2023 – Côtes de Francs

A lovely fresh, floral nose, which offers fruit, a fine, racy, fresh grain and intensity. It expresses notes of pulpy/fresh blackberry, pulpy/juicy violet plum and small notes of fresh bigarreau cherry associated with fine touches of pulpy/juicy small fruits, as well as fine hints of violet, star anise and an indiscreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a good identity, a certain accuracy, juiciness, gourmandise and a certain purity of fruit, a fresh and precise structure. It expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, violet and small notes of fresh/tangy raspberry, associated with a touch of tangy/juicy violet plum, as well as hints of toast, star anise and a discreet hint of fresh vanilla. A lovely freshness and juiciness. The tannins are fresh and tasty. A lovely tasty and persistent finish. A lovely racy calcareous grain
