Château Puyblanquet 2023 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is beautifully conducted, precise and offers a lovely fine grain, precise and powerful, accuracy and a certain depth. It expresses notes of pulpy wild blackcurrant, pulpy purple plum and more slightly – small bright red berries, associated with fine hints of infusion, a hint of sense of place and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, accuracy, a tangy frame, a lovely definition and delicacy, tension, precision, a fine suavity, a fine textured side. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright blackcurrant and more slightly – bright raspberry, associated with touches of bright plum, as well as fine hints of cornflower, black pepper and a subtle hint of smoke.
