The nose is elegant, fruity, and offers a certain power in accuracy, precision, a fine straightness and nicely classic. It expresses notes of morello cherry, pulpy purple plum and more slightly – violet, associated with touches of graphite, fresh nutmeg, roasted-fresh strawberry, bright blueberry, as well as a hint of liquorice stick, warm pine sap and sweet spices. The palate is nicely led, fruity, elegant, balanced, a fruit bomb, with almost a discreet Mediterranean side in the fruit. It expresses notes of morello cherry, bright blackberry and more slightly – small roasted red fruits, associated with touches of star anise, discreet hints of aromatic herbs, racy minerality, warm gravel, with a subtle almost iodized hint. Good length, the tannins are soft, gourmet and supple. A concentration in finesse, a power in freshness and accuracy and a nice stretched side. Good persistence.
