The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration, a little textured side. It expresses notes of fairly ripe wild strawberry, crushed redcurrants and more slightly – violet and lily associated with fine hints of smoke, nutmeg and a discreet hint of toast. The palate is nicely juicy, mineral, fresh, and offers accuracy, silkiness, shine and a certain delicacy. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy raspberry, bright cherry and more slightly – blackberry, associated with touches of bright blackcurrant as well as fine hints of cornflower, Ceylon black tea, as well as a fine hint of graphite. The tannins are finely sappy and the finish is mellow.
