Château Lacoste Borie 2023 – Pauillac Cru Classé

A lovely fruity, aromatic, elegant, gourmand nose, which offers substance and a certain little richness and depth. It expresses notes of boysenberry, fairly ripe blackcurrant and more slightly roasted-juicy, associated with a touch almost aromatic herbs, as well as fine hints of infusion and star anise. The palate is fruity, and offers juiciness, minerality, freshness, a nice definition, a certain gourmandise, accuracy, a tangy frame. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, roasted-juicy raspberry and more slightly aromatic herbs, associated with touches of spices, as well as fine hints of star anise, cornflower and a hint of infusion. Good length. Savory and fresh tannins. Good freshness. The mid-palate is finely mellow.
