The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration, accuracy and a certain depth, a fine complexity. It expresses notes of pulpy strawberry, crushed raspberry and more slightly – pulpy blackcurrant, associated with touches of cornflower, star anise as well as fine almost roasted hints/aromatic herbs. The palate is fruity and offers suavity, delicacy, a certain minerality, good definition, tension, a little crystalline side in the mouth. It expresses notes of roasted-juicy raspberry, roasted-juicy cherry and more slightly – pulpy blackberry, associated with touches of aromatic herbs, as well as fine hints of star anise, smoke and tobacco. Good length, fine hints of chocolate and toast. Nice little chew on the finish/persistence.
