The nose is fruity, gourmand, precise and offers a certain concentration in control, matter and a fine textured side. It expresses notes of blackberry, roasted raspberry and more slightly – violet, associated with touches of toast, fresh blond tobacco, as well as discreet hints of small bright fruits and a discreet hint of graphite. The palate is nicely juicy, pulpy and offers brilliance, purity and a certain gourmandise, nice density and accuracy and matter in freshness. It expresses notes of juicy roasted cherry, small pulpy/fresh red fruits and more slightly – violet associated with touches of tobacco, star anise as well as fine hints of small red berries with almost a Mediterranean accent and a fine hint almost aromatic herbs and toast. Good length, nice juiciness and freshness, nice mineral and textured/gourmet persistence.
