A lovely fruity nose with creaminess, lovely complexity, finesse, a 3-dimensional side, elegance, accuracy, concentration in finesse. It expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, bright Boysenberry and more lightly – pepper associated with touches of almost roasted-fresh red berries / a Mediterranean side of the fruit, hints of maceration in elegance, hints of zan, as well as fine hints of blueberry, crushed blueberry, spices and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, beautifully delicate and silky and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, delicacy, elegance, an infusion side and concentration. It expresses notes of juicy/concentrated blackcurrant, bright raspberry and more lightly – juicy blackberry, associated with touches of bright berries, as well as hints of tobacco, toast, tonka bean, cornflower, star anise, maceration, black tea and roasted hazelnut. The tannins are elegant, precise, sapid. Lovely freshness. The palate attacks with suppleness, accuracy and control. A certain contained/controlled density. A discreet velvety finish/persistence. Very lovely persistence. Softness and a lovely mid-palate, a certain density in finesse. A subtle hint of juicy/bright cherry finish/persistence.
