Fleur de Pédesclaux 2023 – Pauillac

A lovely fruity nose, gourmand and offers intensity and a stretched side. It expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, strawberry and small notes of flowers, associated with touches of graphite as well as hints of fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of smoke and racy minerality. The palate is nicely conducted, fresh, elegant, gourmand and offers a tangy frame, juiciness, shine, a fine bright side, gourmandize. It expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry of crushed blackcurrant and small notes of bright raspberry, associated with touches of small bright fruits, as well as hints of racy minerality, graphite and a fine hint of cornflower, fresh lily and toast. Good sapid and saline persistence. The sapid and fresh tannins. Nice freshness and a subtle almost sappy/floral hint in the background.
