Château Margaux 2023 – Margaux

Château Margaux 2023 – Margaux

A lovely elegant, aromatic, complex, gourmand nose and offers a lovely little softness of the grain and a fine intensity, a lovely multi-layered side. It expresses notes of boysenberry, crushed raspberry and more lightly – of small bright plum, associated with touches of fresh blond tobacco, infusion and a hint of smoke and has fine hints of fresh toast, discreet floral hint (almost an imperceptible hint of wisteria), nutmeg. The palate is nicely mineral, fresh, elegant, balanced and offers a tangy frame, accuracy, tension, minerality, good definition. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh/crunchy plum and more lightly – violet, associated with touches of small fresh/crunchy red berries, as well as fine floral hints and fine hints of violet, lilac, as well as a subtle hint of small fresh red plum, a subtle hint of toast, infusion and smoke. The tannins are soft and sapid, nicely gourmand, fresh, elegant, complex. Nicely classic in freshness, nicely fresh, delicate and which unfolds all in accuracy/melodiousness. We also find a hint of toasted/roasted almond on the persistence and a fine chew/salinity too.
