Ronchi di Castellicio – Ronco del Re 2021 – Colli di Faenza DOC

The nose is fruity, textured, structured, frank and offers a fine deepness. There are notes of small ripe fruits, sap and slight notes of yellow flowers associated with fine touches of physalis as well as a hint of citrus peel and a very discreet hint of lime blossom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, tension, precision, a good definition, a certain small concentration as well as a subtle oxidative hint (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of small yellow fruits, kumquat and small sappy notes associated with an oxidative touch, apricot as well as discreet hints of dried lemon and a discreet hint of nutmeg. A little oxidative side controlled and certainly desired.
