The nose is fruity and offers a certain concentration, a roasted-mediterranean side of the fruit, a racy side, a slight intensity as well as a sense of place (local biotop). There are notes of pulpy black plum, chocolate and small notes of roasted black cherry associated with touches of cassis (discreetly jammy) as well as slight hints of tobacco, Zan and balck olive. The mouth is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers concentration, darkness, roundness, fat as well as a mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed black plum, roasted black cherry and small notes of crushed cassis associated with touches of black olive, chocolate, toast as well as slight hints of camphor and Bourbon vanilla. Good length. Slightly chewy tannins. A good hint of good bitterness and torrefaction on the finish. Freshness. Hints of kirsch and balsamic on the finish/ persistence.
