The nose is slightly closed. The wine needs to be decanted. There are notes of tobacco, pepper and small notes of ripe wild small fruits associated with touches of spices as well as a hint of local grove, almost a discreet faded rose petal hint in the background. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, pulpy/ juicy cassis and small notes of roasted-juicy cherry associated with touches of quite ripe small red fruits as well as toasted hints, tonka bean, slight hints of laurel tree and a discreet hint of olive tree. A slight chew. Good length. Beautiful freshness and minerality. A subtle patinated hint in the background. Chewy tannins.
