Arnaldo Caprai 2022 – Montefalco Rosso

The nose is fresh, racy and offers a slight concentration, a beautiful grain and a discreet varietal side (in the background). There are notes of boysenberry, bright quetsche plum and small notes of sense of place (local biotop) associated with touches of olive tree, violet and badian/ very discreet anise. The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, aciduly, a good definition, a certain gourmandise, juiciness as well as a slight pulpiness/ juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, juicy/ fresh bigarreau cherry associated with touches of creamy/ fresh small fruits as well as hints of toast, tobacco and a hint of local grove/ sense of place. Good length. Beautiful finish/ acidulous and gourmand. Beautifu freshness.
