Azienda Agraria, Moretti Omero – 2019 Montefalco Sagrantino Passito

The nose is fruity, powerful and offers a tense and balanced grain. There are notes of candied black cherry, fresh sweet pepper and small notes of wild cassis associated with touches of strawberry jelly, black berries jelly as well as slight hints of tobacco and a discreet almost sense of place hint (local biotop). The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, an acidulous frame, tension, a certain straigtness as well as a tense and a bit tight grain. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black cherry jelly, black plum jelly and small notes of candied cassis associated with a slight amost crushed fig touch, almost marmalada as well as a subtle hint of tobacco. Precise, frank and discreetly marked tannins. A subtle hint of clove on the persistence.
