Thomas-Labaille, Vigneron à Chavignol, l’Authentique 2023 – Sancerre

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is fruity, juicy and gourmand. It first expresses notes of passion fruit, yellow peach, ripe apricot, complemented by aromas of crushed lemon, grapefruit zest, tangy kiwi, green apple skins, as well as hay in the background, a mineral hint of limestone and flint and white flowers (linden, honeysuckle). The palate offers an airy and gourmand attack: with notes of flower honey, yellow peach and ripe apricot, associated in the mid-palate with a good bitterness of grapefruit, a lively acidity of lime juice and yellow lemon , as well as floral scents of linden and honeysuckle. The finish is persistent, tangy and salivating, with a distinguished mineral framework (flint, limestone). Beautiful freshness and balance.
