The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The nose is fragrant and offers expressive woody aromas (toasted wood, fresh wood, toasted hazelnut), a precise but delicate spiciness (vanilla, a touch of clove, nutmeg), as well as a lactic hint of butter, vanilla yogurt, a touch of toast and brioche. Then, the wine expresses gourmand and sweet aromas of yellow peach, ripe apricot, lime jam, lemon cream, fresh lemon and grapefruit, as well as a hint of melon, fruits of the passion fruit, honey and white flowers (apple blossoms, honeysuckle). On the palate, the wine is sqvoury and complex. The attack reflects the first nose in its woody (toasted wood, fresh wood, toasted hazelnut) and spicy (vanilla, nutmeg, clove) flavors. The mid-palate is gourmand and fruity; we find the flavors of yellow peach, apricot, passion fruit, fresh and candied lemon, as well as a touch of lemon cream in the background, honey and white flowers (apple blossom, honeysuckle) . The finish is persistent, spicy and woody, slightly bitter (good bitterness from chestnut honey). A wine which offers density and freshness, good aging potential, but still needs to integrate the wood.
