Domaine Saint Martin des Champs – Hermitage 2023 – Saint-Chinian

The wine needs to be decanted. The nose offers notes of fresh pear, flowers and small notes fresh spices associated with touches of quite ripe nectarine as well as fine hints of fresh blond tobacco and discreet hints of fresh local garrigue. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy structure, tension, suavity, energy as well as a certain tension in finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous yellow apple, kumquat and small notes of quince associated with a touch of tangy apricot, fine almost pineapple hints as well as a subtle hint of garrigue. Freshness and a subtle hint of almost sage and lemon blossom in the background.
