Clos del Rey – La Noia 2022 – IGP Côtes Catalanes

The nose is aromatic, round, toasted and gourmand. There are notes of crushed nectarine, fresh toast and small notes of acacia/sap associated with touches of physalis, a discreet hint of apricot as well as discreet hints of pepper and sage. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, roundness, gourmandise, a tangy structure, energy as well as a beautifull small unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lemon, quénette and small notes of bright vine peach associated with an almost physalis touch, pineapple as well as discreet hints of fresh garrigue, fresh sage and a subtle hint of zest (in the background). Good length. A subtle sweetening/toasted touch which brings roundness and gourmandise. The persistence is sappy.
