Celebrate the new vintage with the winemakers of Chablis and the Grand Auxerrois!
The Chablis Wine Festival is a major annual event. More than 6,500 people are expected in the village center to celebrate the new vintage. On this occasion, around forty winemakers from Chablis and the Grand Auxerrois will come together to share their expertise and showcase their wines through free tastings throughout the weekend.
Organized by the Office du Chablis in partnership with the Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourgogne (BIVB), the Chablis Wine Festival continues to evolve, offering an even more convivial and festive event with numerous activities!
Visitors can now find the full event program and pre-book their tasting glass on the new website dedicated to the festival: www.fetedesvinsdechablis.fr. They can also follow the festival on social media: Facebook and Instagram @fetedesvinsdechablis.
The **Consortium of Italian Wines from the Irpinia region** will be present at the event to offer tastings of wines from this southern Italian region. Visitors will be able to discover the specificities of the **red “Taurasi” wines** and the **white “Fiano di Avellino” and “Greco di Tufo” wines.
The BAYA association and the Les Vieux Pistons Tonnerrois will display their vintage and luxury vehicles in Place Lafayette throughout the weekend.
Visitors can continue the celebration with a rock concert by the group **Ouest** and enjoy food trucks on Place Lafayette on Saturday evening.
The traditional procession of the Confrérie des Piliers Chablisiens will take place on Sunday morning. Accompanied by the Godparents of the 2024 vintage, the President of the Wine Festival, officials, and the “Les Enfants de Chablis” brass band, the procession will parade through the streets of Chablis before concluding with the traditional speeches and much-anticipated induction ceremony.
This ceremony will be held in the courtyard of Château Long-Depaquit. This highlight of the Wine Festival, blending solemnity and conviviality, is an opportunity to reflect on the past year and thank those who work tirelessly to promote local appellations.

– On-site food service organized by the Comité de Saint-Vincent de Fontenay-Près-Chablis 2025

– Adult activities: musicians, blind tastings, aroma games.
– Children’s activities: inflatable structures, face painting, clown, wine painting.
Activities on Saturday, October 26:
– 3:00 p.m.: theater performance by the **AMAB Company** in the courtyard of Château Long-Depaquit.
– 6:30 p.m.: **rock concert** by the group **Ouest** – Place Lafayette – on-site food service (food trucks).
Activities on Sunday, October 27:
– 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: guided walks organized by the Chablis Trail Association departing from Place Lafayette.
– 11:00 a.m.: opening of the stands and procession of the Piliers Chablisiens departing from Place Lafayette.
– 11:30 a.m.: speeches and **induction ceremony** by the Piliers Chablisiens in the courtyard of Château Long-Depaquit.
