The nose expresses concentration, freshness, a distinguished minerality (dry stone, granite), as well as a herbaceous , toasted and spicy touch (liquorice). We also find aromas of juicy morello cherry, blackcurrant, dried strawberry, crushed blueberry, black plum and red plum, fragrant notes of peppermint and wild rose. The palate is silky, juicy and sapid. It expresses notes of ripe morello cherry, cherry in chocolate, crushed blueberry, fresh peony, crushed raspberry, combined with touches of liquorice, nutmeg, mint chocolate and a fragrant note of fresh peony. The finish is persistent, slightly herbaceous (it notably adds touches of fresh tobacco and infused tea) as well as a good bitterness of cocoa and a toasted touch (coffee). The acidity is refreshing and lively. Good balance, a chiseled and tangy structure which defines its profile.
