Domaine de Mas Caron Rosé fûté 2022 – Ventoux

(organic) The wine has a pale pink color, with orange reflections. The nose is aromatic, gourmand, floral and slightly spicy. It expresses notes of yellow peach, vine peach, red currants, white currants, as well as crunchy strawberries and raspberries. We also find scents of peony and wild rose, associated with a touch of white pepper and pink grapefruit with a good bitterness. After aeration, the wine also expresses notes of bay leaf and bitter almond. The palate is silky, even a little oily, but balanced thanks to good bitterness and lively grapefruit acidity. It also expresses gourmand and juicy flavors of vine peach, red apple, tangy raspberry and fresh strawberry. The finish is persistent, with lively acidity, good bitterness and a fine salinity. A gourmand and refreshing rosé, with a certain complexity.
