Jürg Obrecht Jeninser Pinot Blanc 2021 – Graubünden

Jürg Obrecht Jeninser Pinot Blanc 2021 – Graubünden

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is pure and expresses notes of juicy and fleshy stone fruits (yellow peach, white peach, ripe apricot), associated with touches of exotic fruits (pineapple, a hint of fresh banana) and an elegant and airy floral bouquet. We find notes of white flowers (lily, acacia, hawthorn, apple blossom), as well as a limestone and minty mineral touch in the background. The palate is lively, with a mineral, saline and tangy attack. It expresses citrus flavors (lemon, lemon zest, lime), a chiseled touch of green apple, as well as the gourmandise of apricot and white peach. We also find the notes of white flowers (acacia, hawthorn, apple blossom). The finish is persistent, dynamic, with a salivating acidity and a slightly drying saline and calcareous mineraity. A wine with a beautiful structure, freshness and accuracy.
