Musico 2022 – Rosso di Montalcino

(organic) The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is gourmand, warming, with a touch of roasted red fruits. It expresses notes of fresh red cherry, morello cherry, roasted red cherry, dried blackcurrant, crushed raspberry, as well as a fragrant herbaceous aromas of fresh Mediterranean herbs (fresh thyme, rosemary), dried bay leaf and roasted bouquet garni. We also find a touch of coffee, nutmeg, roasted hazelnut and smoke in the background. The palate is juicy, velvety, with a fruity and pleasantly minty attack. It expresses the flavors of fresh morello cherry, wild strawberry, roasted red cherry, dried blackcurrant, as well as liquorice, nutmeg, toasted hazelnut, roasted bouquet garni, thyme and bay leaf. The tannins are supple, silky and delicate. Good persistence, with a pleasant bitterness and salivating acidity. A pleasant and silky wine.
