Ag. Casaioli Collicelli 2022 – Trasimeno DOC Rosso

(Sangiovese, Merlot) The nose is rather discreet, but offers concentration and density. It expresses notes of blackcurrant, black plum, morello cherry, tangy bigarreau cherry, as well as wild strawberry, associated with a tasty and refreshing herbaceous side (mint, bay leaf, rosemary), as well as a touch of chocolate. and cocoa in the background. The palate offers density, good structure, energy and straightness. We find fruity notes of crushed strawberry, black plum, blackcurrant, morello cherry and bigarreau cherry, combined with notes of bay leaf, thyme, licorice, dried mint and chocolate in the background. The tannins are firm, structured, but not dry. A straight and concentrated wine, with a certain complexity.
