Duca della Corgna, Divina Villa 2019 – Trasimeno DOC Trasimeno Gamay Riserva

The nose is aromatic and complex, with harmoniously associated fruity, spicy and tertiary notes. It expresses notes of crushed wild strawberry, very ripe raspberry, juicy morello cherry, the concentration of aromas in notes of dried red fruits (dried red cherry, dried strawberry), completed by a touch of torrefaction (coffee, toasted hazelnut, toasted wood), dark chocolate, dried rose, dried mint, violet and liquorice. We also find the tertiary aromas of tobacco and undergrowth integrated into the profile of the wine. The palate has structure and juicy fruitiness. It expresses the flavors of crushed strawberry, juicy morello cherry, ripe raspberry, as well as torrefaction (coffee, toasted hazelnut), dark chocolate, a hint of dried mint and dried rose, which return on the finish. The tannins are firm, but fine. The finish is quite long, gourmand and complex. Beautiful structure and tangy frame, finesse and delicacy.
