(Sangiovese). The wine has an onion pink color of medium intensity. It expresses notes of vine peach, fresh strawberry, red currants, red plum, red orange, red cherry (associated with a lactic touch of cherry yogurt), a spicy touch of nutmeg and white pepper. We also find a fine floral bouquet with notes of wild rose, chamomile, dried lime, faded rose, iris and lavender, which appears after aeration. We also feel a slight minerality on the nose. The palate is chiseled, tangy and oily at the same time, with an iodised and saline touch, which stands out more than on the nose. The wine also expresses flavors of lime, red orange, grapefruit, a slight bitterness of wine lees and grapefruit, even a slight tannic sensation. Notes of tart cherry and morello cherry, as well as flowers (withered rose, violet, iris) appear on the finish. Good length with good bitterness and a refreshing tanginess.
