La Querciolana Rosé di Boldrino 2023 – Umbria IGT Rosato

(Trasimeno gamay): The wine has a pale salmon pink color. The nose is delicate and opens after aeration. It expresses aromas of red cherry, red currant, pink grapefruit and white peach, combined with a hint of white pepper and limestone. The palate offers density, a vinous and oily touch, but it is structured and fresh (thanks to lively acidity and good bitterness). We find flavors of red cherry, grapefruit, red currant, white peach, as well as dried raspberries, pear drops in the mid-palate and a saline, even iodine hint of.
