Montemelino Bianco 2022 – Umbria Bianco IGT

(Trebbiano Spolettino, Trebbiano Toscano, Grechetto 2022 bottled a few days before) The nose is aromatic and chiseled. It expresses notes of green fruits (green apple, gooseberries, yellow lemon, lime, grapefruit), associated with a herbaceous and vegetal touch of cucumber, acacia, as well as a hint of white peach. The palate is sapid and tasty, slightly milky, enveloping and oily. It expresses the flavors of peach in syrup, candied green apple, candied lemon, lychee, a hint of pear drops, refreshed by notes of fresh lemon, fresh green apple, gooseberries, blood orange and orange juice. The salivating acidity and good bitterness of grapefruit balance the roundness and delicate sweetness of the wine.
