Lei Dry Rive di Carpesica 2018 – Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG

Lei Dry Rive di Carpesica 2018 – Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG

(second fermentation in bottle, aging on lees for 18 months and 6 months in cellars after disgorging) The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is gourmand and aromatic. It expresses notes of ripe stone fruits (juicy yellow peach, crushed apricot), associated with aromas of peach in syrup, candied orange, candied lemon, fresh golden apple, pineapple, roasted apple, as well as caramel in the background, vanilla and fresh brioche. The palate offers a good balance between sweetness and acidity. It features the flavors of peach in syrup, crushed yellow peach, ripe apricot, pineapple in syrup, rosemary in syrup, candied lemon, vanilla and brioche. The finish is persistent, tangy and fresh – it expresses notes of lemon syrup (or even limoncello) and a delicate bitterness of grapefruit. Beautiful balance, freshness and gourmandise.
