(47%) The nose is aromatic, fruity and offers elegance as well as a powerful and fine grain. It reveals notes of dried quince, dried orange and small notes of dried apricot associated with a touch of dried peach, dried violet, a hint of Timut pepper as well as a discreet hint of rancio and gray pepper. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, well-balanced and offers a tangy frame, gourmandise, juiciness as well as suavity. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of mandarin marmalade, crème brulée and small notes of peach in syrup associated with touches of roasted small fruits, rancio, tobacco as well as a hint of dried zest, almost sappy and a subtle hint of peaty (in the background). Good length and good persistence.
