(42.8%) The nose is aromatic, elegant, powerful, fine and offers a small incisive side. There are notes of dried quince, dried zest and slight notes of pear associated with touches of Zante currants, pepper as well as fine hints of freshly-toasted oak and spices. The palate is nicely structured, mineral and offers delicacy in its fat, gourmandise, roundness as well as a nice balance. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of quince, crushed physalis and small notes of caramelized small fruits associated with touches of dried zest, Zante currants, cedar as well as a discreet hint of blond tobacco, crème brulée and sweet spices. Power on the finish/persistence. A very discreet salty and freshly-toasty touch.
