Domaine Felix Chablis 2023 – Chablis

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose offers freshness, precision and a tangy citrus notes, associated with a racy, saline and limestone (even chalky) minerality. It expresses notes of lemon zest, lime zest, lemon juice, as well as green apple, Reine Claude plum, apricot, cut grass and acacia. The palate is gourmand, juicy and very fruity, even slightly sweet. It expresses notes of white peach, ripe apricot, fresh lemon, candied lemon, grapefruit jam as well as apple blossom and acacia (but we feel a little less minerality). Good bitterness of grapefruit and chestnut honey, very pleasant on the finish. The acidity is lively, salivating and refreshing. Nice concentration, complexity and balance. Density and an oily touch on the palate.
