The nose is subtle and discreet, but at the same time it expresses complexity, density and depth. On the first nose, we find spicy and woody notes of liquorice, ground cumin, vanilla, white pepper, toasted hazelnut, toasted wood, fresh wood, coffee (in the background) and dried pine needles. The second nose offers a floral touch of dried rose, fresh peony and violet, combined with a hint of fresh wild mint and juicy fruits (morello cherry, black plum, roasted red cherry, raspberry, strawberry, blackcurrant). The palate is straight, precise, juicy and concentrated. It expresses the flavors of ripe and tangy fruits on the attack (strawberry, raspberry, cranberries, morello cherry, red plum, blueberry), combined with a woody hint (fresh wood, toasted hazelnut, coffee in the background), spiciness (liquorice, nutmeg, white pepper), floral bouquet (violet, peony) and herbaceous notes (pine needles, wild mint). The tannins have a vertical structure, slightly drying, but balanced by a salivating acidity and juicy fruitines.
