The nose is fragrant, woody at first. It expresses notes of liquorice, pine sap, fresh hazelnut, peppermint, tangy and ripe fruits (morello cherry, red cherry, raspberry, strawberry, roasted red cherry), a hint of dry rose and cocoa. The palate is tangy, juicy and expresses flavors of morello cherry, strawberry and red cherry, fresh wood, crushed mint, fresh rose and a tangy and bitter hint of cranberries on the finish. Firm, dry tannins, but nice acidity. The finish is chiseled, tangy and rather persistent, with a fine herbaceous hint.
