The nose expresses aromas of liquorice, pine sap, menthol, an aromatic fruitiness (morello cherry, red cherry, blueberry, blackcurrant, cranberry juice). The palate is juicy, airy and fruity. It expresses flavors of red cherry, cranberries, licorice, peony and violet. The acidity is salivating, in balance on the straightness and verticality. The tannins are a little rough. We also find notes of mint, pine needles, toast, chocolate and coffee with its good bitterness on the finish.
