Château Letruelle 2023 – Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fresh, sappy and woody, but without excess. We find notes of pine needles, pine sap, fresh wood, associated with fruity notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry, red cherry and crunchy strawberry, as well as a hint of liquorice and toasted hazelnut. The palate is airy, fruity, less woody. It expresses notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry, red cherry, crushed raspberry, as well as toasted touches, coffee and a hint of cocoa in the background. The finish is juicy, with notes of liquorice, pine needles and a fermented side of crushed plum in the background. The tannins are fine, but structured, nice acidity.
