The nose is aromatic, sappy and minty, slightly herbaceous It also expresses notes of blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry, peppermint, blackcurrant leaf in the background, a touch of pine needles, chocolate and chocolate cherry after aeration, as well as a slight touch of fresh tobacco. On the palate, the wine is tight, but juicy. It expresses the flavors of blackcurrant, blueberry, bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, peppermint, liquorice and a touch of violet, a high acidity on the finish, but balanced by a gourmet touch of chocolate. A nice freshness, a tangy and lively structure, tension. The finish expresses notes of fresh fruit, liquorice and pine needles. The tannins are slightly bitter.
