The first nose expresses the perceptible woody side (toasted wood, vanilla, toasted hazelnut, even caramelized), but delicate and enveloped, associated with herbaceous notes (crushed peppermint, blackcurrant bourgein in fon) and a hint of pine sap. We then find juicy fruits (morello cherry, red cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry, blueberry), sweet spices (licorice, cardamom), violet, as well as a touch of bitterness (coffee, toasted almond). The palate is enveloping, juicy, smoky and toasted on the attack. We then find notes of strawberry, morello cherry, red cherry, crushed raspberry and blackcurrant, associated with a woody touch (coffee, toasted hazelnut, toasted wood), a touch of bitter cocoa, sweet spices (licorice, vanilla in the background, cardamom), dried mint and flowers (dried rose, peony). The tannins are firm, grippy, but with a rather fine texture. Good length on the freshness, notes of tangy fruits (bigarreau cherry, cranberries) and a lively acidity.
