Château La Vieille Cure 2023 – Fronsac

The nose is aromatic, with woody, toasted notes of vanilla and liquorice, combined with notes of morello cherry, tart strawberry, bigarreau cherry, plums, as well as peony and pepper. The palate is juicy and airy, enveloping, but light. It expresses the flavors of morello cherry, strawberry, bigarreau cherry, plums, liquorice and toast, combined with a good bitterness of cocoa and coffee. Good persistence in the mouth, with bitterness and tanginess. Tension, gourmandise and tension on the finish, as well as a racy minerality, a touch of chocolate morello cherry.
