Château de Braude 2023 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is juicy, fruity, a bit fermented. It expresses notes of morello cherry, red cherry in compote, crushed red plum, crushed strawberry, crushed raspberry, as well as aromas of fresh and tangy fruits, a fine woody (hazelnut) and floral (rose, peony) hint, as well as a touch of wild mint in the background. The mouth is supple, but structured. It expresses the flavors of crushed strawberry, morello cherry, red cherry, cocoa, dried mint and chocolate morello cherry in the background. The tannins are structured, fine, not dry. The finish is pleasant, with a touch of salinity, salivating acidity and a hint of toast.
