The nose is subtly fragrant, with delicate woody aromas (toasted wood, liquorice, caramel in the background, a touch of vanilla). The fruits on the nose are ripe, tangy (blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry, red cherry and crushed raspberry), associated with a touch of roasted cherry, coffee and toasted hazelnut. The palate is sapid, fruity. It expresses notes of morello cherry, roasted red cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry, toasted wood, as well as liquorice, dried mint and violet on the finish. The tannins are firm, drying, even astringent and a little bitter. The finish has an average persistence. Beautiful salivating acidity and a gourmet touch of chocolate on the finish.
