Château Croix du Trale 2023 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity and offers a velvety grain as well as airiness. It reveals notes of strawberry, ripe/pulpy raspberry and small notes of fleshy blackcurrant associated with fine touches of crushed redcurrants as well as delicate hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, tension, accuracy, an acidulous frame, freshness, delicacy as well as a fine fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy raspberry and small notes of fleshy/crushed redcurrants associated with floral touches as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco. Good length. A discreet hint of good bitterness and chocolate on the persistence.
