Belguardo V 2020 – Maremma Toscana DOC Vermentino Superiore

The nose is fruity, fresh, mineral, tense, precise and offers a certain fat / creaminess. It reveals notes of pulpy vine peach, pulpy green apple and small notes of quite ripe citrus fruits associated with a subtle hint of clementine. The palate is mineral, juicy, pulpy and offers a beautiful almost tannic structure as well as a nice fat in freshness and elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy citrus fruits, pulpy mandarin and small notes of pulpy / fresh apple associated with touches of fresh peach as well as a subtle hint of kumquat and discreet hints of toasted almond. A beautiful work on the good bitterness.
