Lokoya – Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 – Diamond Mountain District, Napa Valley

Nice elegant, precise, chiseled, frank and delicate nose. It reveals notes of wild boysenberry, crushed blackcurrant and small notes of blond tobacco associated with fine touches of black cherry, fine hints of toasted almond as well as a almost sense of place (biotop local) hint. The palate is beautifully mineral, elegant, well-balanced and offers precision, tension, a racy side delicacy, a beautiful structure, a beautiful acidity of the fruit as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, creamy black cherry and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of pulpy/juicy small fruits, hints of toasted hazelnut, cardamom, almond, a subtle hint of local grove, dark chocolate/cocoa as well as an imperceptible hint of sage and toast. Tannins are elegant and ripe. Beautiful harmony and melodious side in its power.
