Sara Vezza, Josetta Saffirio 2020 – Barolo del comune di Montforte d’Alba

Nice elegant, delicate nose which offers a certain power while subtlety as well as a beautiful power of the grain with finesse. We find notes of small ripe red fruits, Cubeb pepper and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of violet, lily as well as fine hints of fresh/crunchy plum as well as discreet hints of smoke and sense of place (local biotop). The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy structure, accuracy, tension, sensuality as well as straigthness in subtlety/precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy wild cherry, ripe/juicy red berries and small notes of purple plum associated with a touch of wild raspberry, violet as well as fine hints of nutmeg, cardamom and a discreet hint of sense of place (local biotop). Nice suavity and tanginess on the finish/persistence. Tannins are slightly mellowness and tasty. Good length. A very discreet hint of chocolate in the background. Very nice persistence.
